Watch: The “Unbreakable Brunch” series Debuts in the Virgin Islands

Watch this recap from the soft launch of our “Unbreakable Brunch” series inspired by Peter Bailey’s award-winning film “Paradise Discovered: The Unbreakable Virgin Islanders” where the author and filmmaker has partnered with chef Digby Stridiron whose restaurant Food & Wine has called the “new heart of Caribbean cooking” and Olympic boxer and chef Julius Jackson to create a story-telling experience where art and cuisine converge. This first event was held at AMA at Cane Bay on St. Croix.

“As a story-teller I’ve always been interested in the role food has played in our Virgin Islands history and that of the larger Caribbean,” says Bailey. “This series furthers our collective movement to own our story as Virgin Islanders and Caribbean people as a whole as we reinvent who we are on the global cultural and political landscape.”
