23 Sep Watch: The Unbreakable Virgin Islanders 2.0 on CBS in Puerto Rico

My mother often jokes, “Boi, those hurricanes does follow you.” This week my Puerto Rican friends said the same thing so I’m beginning to believe them. In the first Unbreakable film I touched on the relationship between Puerto Rico & USVI. I wanted it further understood so what was supposed to be a birthday aka Unbreakable 2.0 watch party with my folks at CBS turned into an all too familiar saga of Hurricanes vs the US territories as #Fiona arrived and I found myself stuck void of electricity with our Virgin Islands’ neighbors. Yet again, we formed life long bonds, because it’s hard not to consider someone family when forced to navigate the dark together. I enjoyed connecting with CBS national correspondent David Begnaud who we picked up from the airport to cover the aftermath, but I’ll never forget my bday jump off the waterfall. Espero que todos amanezcan pronto.
